The past week has seen several visitors that have developed into good RP. One of the best was the one that unfolded over the course of the day. It began with the slaver announcing he had force collared a new bond....
....when I saw the bond, the slaver was running his hand slowly over her thigh. His new slave nearby watching all and seeming unsure of how to react. I noted the new girl was naked, but did not interact with her, instead seeking out the Jarls and Mistresses nearer to the camp wall.
After a while, some of the free had departed and a red arrow whizzed by me, then another and another. I quickly stumbled back from the wall, but we were under attack so I turned and blew the horn as loudly as I could. By then, the outlaws were scurrying up a grapple, however I was prepared and let loose a bag of rocks on their head knocking them down.
Eventually though, they managed to scale the wall as I tried to hoist another bag of rocks. The only free remaining in the camp, the slaver, tried to save me but they captured him as well. Later, when they had released us without much harm, I showed the new girl a rock and tried to explain how to throw it. It then became clear that she spoke very little of our language and showed little interest in my words.
Because other raiders had appeared nearby, the slaver asked me to show the new girl, apparently from Pani, how to get to the dungeon. I showed her the way a bit exasperated by her slowness in following despite obvious intelligence.
After returning to the long hall, we were met by the slaver and his new slave Laylee (also my sister -- not in chains, but actual sister). He demanded to know where we had been, so I explained I had shown her the dungeon and a place to hide. At that point, there was a disturbance and the slaver took the Pani woman out of the fort where he met a striking man claiming to be her prior owner.
The man, after some bantering, agreed to lay down his weapons in order to gain entrance to discuss the rightful ownership of the beast which we began calling the Pani girl....
...to be continued
